Reiki course registration and ICRT

As an ICRT Licensed Reiki Master Teacher, I am required to follow the policies and procedures of the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT) in relation to the administration and certification of ICRT Reiki courses.

When you register for an ICRT Reiki class, certain information may be required to be submitted to ICRT for registration and certification purposes.

This may include your:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Telephone number
  • Email address
  • Course information and certification details

ICRT’s policies explain that information entered by an LRMT into the ICRT system for certification may become publicly available through the ICRT website.

I will only provide the information required for the relevant ICRT course administration or certification process.

Where ICRT requires students to acknowledge its privacy requirements before certification information can be submitted, you will be given the appropriate information when registering for the course.

Health and wellbeing information

When booking a Reiki session or attending a Reiki course, you may choose to provide information about your health, wellbeing or personal circumstances.

You are not required to provide information that is not necessary for the service you have requested.

Information concerning a person’s health is considered special category personal data under UK GDPR and receives additional protection.

Where you voluntarily provide health or wellbeing information, I will treat it confidentially and use it only where there is an appropriate lawful basis and where necessary for the purpose for which it was provided.

I do not use Reiki to diagnose or treat medical conditions, and Reiki is not a substitute for appropriate medical care.

Fresha Scheduling

This website uses Fresha to facilitate the booking and administration of Reiki sessions and appointments.

When you make a booking through Fresha, the information necessary to arrange and administer your appointment may be collected and stored by Fresha.

Fresha has its own privacy policy and data protection arrangements. You should review Fresha’s privacy information when using its services.

Information provided through Fresha may include your name, contact details, appointment information and other information you choose to provide as part of the booking process.
